Subject: [Bloominglabs-announce] Hoosier to Hoosier sale

So, we are on the Resale Trail for the Hoosier to Hoosier sale that the
City puts on every year the weekend before classes. I have committed to
having an open house on Saturday, August 23rd from 8am to 2pm. If people
want to sell things, this can also be a flea market event. But at the very
least, I will be there to open the doors and show people our new space.
Note, the make H2H sale is right next door to us, so I expect we'll get
tons of people coming through the space. This would be a great opportunity
to get some advertising for the space and for Makevention, and it should be
a great opportunity to sell things too.

Are others interested in doing this too? Does anyone want to sell things?
If so, get back to me.

Well, it looks like there is some interest! So we will have a flea market
and open house on August 23rd. We are on the posters for the Resale Trail,
and with the H2H sale right next door, we should expect *a lot* of people.
Especially if we do just a little bit to draw attention to ourselves. A
sign on the road for sure. Maybe balloons and streamers? A large inflatable
gorilla? Lasers?

Seems there's a lot to "woot" about lately...

I had to push on the door to get my fob to work. If you're having
difficulty, getting the door to unlock, just give it a push. Same thing
locking it. Make sure the door is shut all the way.

We have made MUCH progress on our new space. We have just a little more work yet to do before we can get completely settled in. This Saturday from noon to 5pm I'll be there working on a number of projects, if anyone is interested in helping that would be great. One of the last big tasks is lighting in the office area. We need to hang light fixtures there and get them wired up. Some assistance on this would be great.
