Please excuse my self-promotion on this list, but I thought I'd share 
that the e-book is free today.

I also figured that people from a hackerspace would be interested in 
this type of project.

If anybody is interested in my diesel conversion project, the book is 
free today:
--Isuzu 4BD1T and an NV4500 5-speed in a 1999 Suburban
--upgraded turbo for improved torque and driveability
--26 mpg highway
--22 mpg in mixed driving
--EMP-proof drivetrain (mechanically-injected engine with a manual 
transmission)
--Fully functioning accessories, including A/C

Daniel and I will be leading another rain barrel / compost barrel workshop 3/29 - 3/30 10:00 - 2:00 at Bloominglabs. The member cost is $40 for non-food grade (contained car soap) or $50 for Food grade (contained butter) per barrel used. Non-members add $10. Due to issues with my Jetta and not enough public interest, Daniel and I will be postponing the workshop till late April. However, I am open to doing a plant tower workshop instead on March 29th - 30th if a couple people are interested. They aren't difficult to do, just time consuming and each require a heat gun.

I would ask $30 for members or $60 for non-members. These barrels hold a lot of plants and usually cost $150.

I've created an eventbrite page for the plant tower workshop that I'll put on this weekend:

These plant towers can hold a large amount of vegetation in a small space and are great for porches, small lawns, etc where you normally couldn't fit much plant life. It also includes a center composting tube to help your plants grow even faster. Space is limited by the number of heat guns we have, so if you have one we can borrow, that would be awesome. 

Also, you don't have to pay through the eventbrite page if you don't want to pay the site's fee. Bloominglabs can also accept cash, card, and paypal, but I need to know this in advance.

Pinnacle School is having an entrepreneurial fair the last Saturday of
April. It would be awesome if Bloominglabs could have a booth there. I was
thinking it would be a great place to show off Heath's barrels, but other
members would be welcome to join in. You can sell things at this fair - in
fact, the kids are encouraged to come up with projects to make and sell. So
if you have a product you have developed that you'd like to sell, this
would be a great place to do that.

I think Heath is up for this. Is anyone else interested in joining in?
