Greetings from the Glenn Carter Memorial Toolshare crew!


We are incredibly grateful for your interest in helping us to
launch Bloomington's first general tool lending library; the GCMT
is somewhat magically coming together, so far, but we still need your help
to get this community resource off the ground!

Days.*

you to participate in our MLK Day week-long event-series *Community
Toolshare Tool Spiffing Days!*

Volunteers will help to organize and clean a big collection of hand and
power tools, getting them ready to be shared with the community in
Bloomington's first general tool lending library!

Auto repair, plumbing, wood and metal working...you name it, we have the
tool for it!

We will be wiping and scouring, soaking rusty tools (only dish liquid,
vinegar, and baking soda will be used), and applying WD-40.

Gloves, NIOSH-rated particle-filtration masks, and safety goggles will be
provided, to help keep you breathing easy while helping us bust the rust.

Let's create an awesome tool library for all, have fun together, and spiff
up our own community-building tool-set!

Friday, Jan 22:                5 PM - 9 PM
Saturday, Jan 23:         ​  12 PM - 8 PM
