[Bloominglabs-announce] Upcoming Class at Bloominglabs: Blender 3D modeling, animation, and more

Hello, everybody!

This email announces the upcoming class I am teaching on Blender
(https://blender.org), a free, professional-quality 3D modeling and
animation program. The bulk of the class will focus on 3D modelling
and is intended to be useful for people interested in 3D printing. The
class will also introduce many other capabilities of Blender,
including:

* adding materials and textures to models
* animation
* exporting to 3D printers, still images, papercraft plans, and other
3D programs

and, depending on participant interest:

* physics simulation
* video editing
* video stabilization
* combining 3D models and real video
* advanced materials and animation
* Blender's internal video game engine

The class costs $150, and will run for 9 weeks of Tuesdays, STARTING
THIS UPCOMING TUESDAY, 3 April 2018, from 7PM to 9PM.

No prior 3D modeling experience is needed, only basic experience with
using a computer.
