We are developing a program to help ensure that guests, new members, and workshoppers all have a good time when they visit Bloominglabs. This program is known as the Excellent Space Ranger Initiative: Laser Ingenious Conduct Overwatch Organization League, aka ESRILICOOL.

From the perspective of Bloominglabs ''Incorporated'', Space Rangers are '''Designated Supervisors'''. This designation terminates when their assigned event concludes. Events "conclude" when time runs out or, if others stay late, the last non-member leaves.

During public meetings, our doors are open and the space is available for anyone to use. There is no fee to use the space while it is open to the public, and only a few (clearly-marked) tools require payment to use. We also have many parts and materials that have been donated and are free to be used. If you have any questions, please ask any member and they can help you find the answer.
Space Rangers solemnly vow to:
+
# Before the event:
+
## Complete the [[Entrance Protocol]].
+
## If a given item is blocked, provide a 1. safe, 2. clean, and 3. respectable workaround for guests until the item can be rectified.
+
# During the event:
+
## Enthusiastically greet visitors and give complete tours of the space (or an overview of the venue, if off-site).
+
## Ensure all newcomers have signed Liability Waivers before they start wandering around the space and touching dangerous machinery.
+
## Be available to answer questions and provide guidance on how to use equipment
+
# After the event:
+
## Complete any [[Category:Protocols|protocols]] relevant to rooms the event utilized.
+
## If a given checklist item is blocked, alert membership and seek advisement on how to rectify it.

[edit] We are open to the public!

  • Wednesdays: 7pm - 10pm

See our Location page for information on finding and parking at our location.

Come build projects, ask questions, teach things, and learn stuff. Everyone is welcome!

Members are encouraged to be at Bloominglabs during public meetings to work on personal projects, improve the space, socialize with other members, and engage with the interested public.
