Hello all! I am an Informatics PhD student in the Human Computer Interaction Design track at Indiana University Bloomington. My research investigates the intersection of hacker/maker/DIY/craft cultures, identity, empowerment, and democratization of technology. When you see me around the space, I am most likely conducting either a collaborative ethnography or a participatory observation (they are very similar, and mostly involve me taking notes about what is happening at the space).
